The recent heavy rains in White River has caused severe damage to the bridges on the course. The bridge between the 9th and 10th holes was washed away and the bridge across the river on the 7th fairway was damaged beyond repair. The bridge at the 5th Hole held up well with only minor damage.
Work has already started in building temporary bridges pending the construction of permanent high level bridges. The course remains open as a nine hole course until the temporary bridges are opened.
